Maryam Saleh presents Syrr, a deeply personal album shaped by lived experience, loss, and shifting identity. Structured in three parts—Origin & Image, Vessel, and Intuition & Echo—the record follows a process of fragmentation, reflection, and transformation, as the self is questioned and reassembled.

Written and composed by Saleh, the music draws on traditional Egyptian and Arabic forms including mawwal, lullaby, madih, muwashshah and taqtuqa, reworked into a fluid, expressive framework. Co-produced with Maurice Louca and Kamilya Jubran, who also contribute keys, oud and vocals, the album balances raw immediacy with careful arrangement.

Developed over three years with Jubran as mentor, Syrr was later mixed by Mokhtar El Sayeh and mastered by Heba Kadry. Released via Simsara Records, it stands as a richly layered exploration of voice and form.
